Free Conferencing Corp. Integrates VoodooVox In-Call Media to Launch AdConferencing.com as the Industry's First Ad-Supported Teleconferencing Service

Long Beach , CA (February 4, 2008) – Free Conferencing Corporation of America, the leading provider of FREE collaborative communications solutions, today announced the creation of the industry's first ad-supported free conferencing service - AdConferencing.com. Expanding on the company's suite of free and fee-based conferencing and collaboration solutions, AdConferencing.com integrates the technology of VoodooVox's In-Call Media™, offering a new approach to host teleconferences.

“The launch of AdConferencing.com represents a new approach to offering teleconferencing services,” said David Erickson, Founder, Free Conferencing Corp. of America. “Working with VoodooVox, we can now leverage our pioneering conferencing and collaboration services to deliver the first ad-supported solution with the new AdConferencing.com.”

Similar to traditional teleconferencing services, AdConferencing.com users are prompted to enter a pass code and will hear a brief ad-supported message as the parties are joined in the conference call. The message, inserted directly into the call stream by VoodooVox, replaces the standard ring that callers normally hear before connecting to a teleconference.

VoodooVox is the driving force behind In-Call Media, the patent-pending process of inserting ad-supported audio content directly into the call stream of high-call volume companies. Currently integrated into hundreds of leading telecom "publishers" generating 300 million calls monthly, the VoodooVox In-Call Network powers free or reduced price telephony services for world-renowned brands including IDT, Univision, Virgin Mobile, Nokia, Microsoft and Showtime, among others.

“Free Conferencing Corp has emerged as the clear leader of free audio conferencing services, and is an ideal company to benefit from ad-supported In-Call Media,” said J. Scott Hamilton, CEO, VoodooVox. “The market opportunities for this new ad-supported teleconferencing model are powerful, and we look forward to delivering innovative solutions that leverage our platform.”

Similar to the company's suite of free and fee-based conferencing and collaboration solutions, AdConferencing users can benefit from a full set of in-call features such as call lock, mute and free recording. Other highlights include:

  • Free Conference Calling Anytime
  • One-step Registration and Instant Access
  • Reservation-less Conference Calls
  • 96 Simultaneous Callers
  • 120-Day Renewable Account
  • Free Recording, Playback and Downloading
  • Free Podcast and RSS Feeds
  • Free Call Detail Reports
