Free Conferencing Corporation Announces Breakout Conferencing

New FreeConferencing.com Feature Allows Callers to Join Up to Four Conference Sessions During a Single Conference Call

Long Beach, Calif. – January 25, 2010 – FreeConferenceCall.com, the leading provider of free conferencing services, today announced a breakout conferencing feature as part of its full-featured conferencing service, FreeConferencing.com. Now, during a live conference call, a conference host may distribute callers into up to four breakout conferencing rooms.

Eliminating the hassle of creating separate conference lines for sub-groups within a single conference session, FreeConferencing.com is one of the first free conferencing providers in the industry to offer the convenience of breakout sessions. To initiate a breakout session, conference organizers must first organize a conference call by notifying all participants of the date and time for the call and providing them with the conference dial-in number and participant access code. The host must then assign topics or discussion sessions for each breakout conferencing room?along with a leader who will guide the call during the breakout sessions. At any time during the live conference call, the host may distribute callers into the breakout conferencing rooms by keying in "#" and the number of the conference room. Callers may return to the main conference session at any time.

David Erickson, Founder of Free Conferencing Corporation: "An increasing number of organizations are looking to be more productive with their conferencing solutions. As an innovator in the conferencing space, FreeConferencing.com saw a need for the unique breakout conferencing feature and jumped on it. Now, customers in every industry can seamlessly use conference calling as a way to talk about specific sub-topics as part of any larger conversation."

Free breakout conferencing is available now. Possible use cases include:

  • Education and training seminars
  • Sub-committee meetings in the political arena
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Direct sellers and multi-level marketers
  • Online courses at colleges and universities
