FAQ

How do I connect to meetings?

Please feel free to test your connection during non-meeting hours.

Platform-specific instructions: 

COMPUTER BROWSER

• Click here.

On new tab that opens:

• Enter name and any email (e.g. a@b.com. These will be visible to all.)
• Click green Join button.
• If prompted to add an extension to your browser, click Cancel.
• Click phone icon on FCC dashboard.
• Click Mic & Speakers on popup.
• Keep both tabs open in your browser: the Wall (this page) and the FCC dashboard. 
• You can get to the Wall from the dashboard by clicking the i icon and selecting Meeting Wall Link.

MOBILE

• Install app on your mobile device: 

Android app
iOS app

• Run FCC app.
• Enter eanon for Online Meeting ID.
• Enter your first name.
• Tap blue Join a Meeting button.
• In Dial In Using popup, tap Internet.

How do I access chat?

COMPUTER BROWSER

There are two ways: 

1. Click the cartoon bubble on the FCC dashboard.
2. Use the Chat box on this page (below).

MOBILE

Tap the people icon on toolbar. Tap the cartoon bubble (bottom right). To post a message: Tap in the To all attendees box. 

How do I mute/unmute my audio?

COMPUTER BROWSER

Click the microphone icon on the FCC dashboard.

MOBILE

Tap the people icon on toolbar. Tap your name in the participant list. Tap the microphone icon that pops up.

How do I view the readings?

COMPUTER BROWSER

• Scroll down on this page to Meeting Resources.
• Move the mouse over the document you want to view.
• Click the eye icon.

MOBILE

• At the bottom of the screen, tap the document you wish to read.

How do I exit a meeting?

COMPUTER BROWSER

Click the x in the upper right corner of the FCC dashboard.

MOBILE

Tap the square & arrow toolbar icon (top, far right).

Troubleshooting

I can't view documents posted to Meeting Resources.

Firefox

• Open the menu by clicking the 3 bars in the upper right corner.
  
• Choose Options.
• Scroll down to Applications.
• Look for Portable Document Format in the Content Type column.
• Click the right edge of the Action column to drop down the menu.
• Select Preview in Firefox.
